Time to join the world of blogging, if for any reason to combat the insidious creep of forgetfulness. What a fantastic forum to look back on at the end of a year in order to figure out where those 365 or less days actually went. Ahhh, the joys of using silicon memory to compensate my own brain matter demise. Joyful reading to you all and of course to myself in 365 odd days time!
Gosh, it has been many years since I wrote the above. Since then I have completed many years of blogging, moved from Sydney to Bristol then back to NZ. I got married, have two gorgeous nephews and met many new friends as we made homes in different countries. Now I am ready to settle for a bit and try to understand what living in my country of birth is about. Believe me, I feel like a stranger here so in affect this is another country that I am learning to live in.
2014-09 Four years already in Taupo, NZ. I can’t believe how quickly that has gone. Must admit that the travel bug has never left me but still trying to give living back in NZ a good go.
